Vacation to the Sea

July 9, 2010 by graceinukraine

The most flexible group ever hanging out in the Ukrainian airport for 5 hours while we tried to get ahold of someone who knows where are luggage is.

If the number one rule on this trip is “be flexible,” then you can just call this group of students Gumby. It’s been two days since leaving America for Ukraine.

Camp started this morning and each one of us has only what we brought in our carry-on bags. Translation: our luggage is missing. All of it. 34 bags. Our airplane from Germany to Ukraine had zero pieces of our luggage loaded onto the plane. (!!!!)

Getting Aquainted while Daydreaming of Sleep

July 7, 2009

Three stops at Mickey D's in three different time zones on the way.Three stops at Mickey D’s in three different time zones on the way.

We were on an airplane the size of Florida and another the size of the front seat of a Toyota. I actually think the international leg-room is smaller and more compact than domestic flights. Must be the metric system…

Anyways – the trip was seamless. From Indy to Chicago,………Read the rest of the story at Grace in Ukraine
