Early in 2008, MtU located a orphanage for boys with special needs in an isolated, rural village about one hour from Zhitomir.  The orphanage conditions were heart-rendering as these wonderful boys and young men sat all day doing nothing.  Our staff members and church volunteers began visiting on a regular basis to teach those who most thought where unteachable.  Their progress has been remarkable and rewarding.
